  • St. Patrick’s Day in Wisconsin Rapids
Much of the world turns green today even if you are not one of the lucky ones to be Irish. Originally St. Patrick's Day was a religous holiday to honor St. Patrick. Today, many celebrate by eating the traditional St. Patrick's day dish, corned beef and cabbage. Many wash it down with a pint of Irish beer or a shot of Irish whiskey. The following local Wisconsin Rapids establishments offer a few St. Patrick's Day perks:
  • The Irish Saved Civilization
Long, long ago the Irish accomplished an incredible feat: They rescued the books of the Western world from a destructive world and preserved them for all humankind.
  • This Day in History

  • ‘Tis the Luck o’ the Irish
Saint Patrick's Day has come to be associated with everything Irish: anything green and gold, shamrocks and luck. Most importantly, to those who celebrate its intended meaning, St. Patrick's Day is a traditional day for spiritual renewal and offering prayers for missionaries worldwide.
